Paddy-Whacked Records™ will start out as a simple music shop specializing in digital and physical sales of, you guessed it, Irish independent artists.
The catalog will start off small, with an intent to grow quickly. Combining with existing and planned features of Paddy-Whacked Radio, this has the potential to be a premere resource on the web for non-traditional Irish Independent music. (Of course I’d like to struggle through and become a mediocre source for traditional Irish music. Heck, it may even surpass sub-par in this regard!)
This project is born out of a need to pay for expenses involved in bringing you Paddy-Whacked Radio. It is my intent to put earnings back into the overall project and make this thing the resource I have always wanted it to be.
There are bigger plans on the horizon, however the goals are lofty. To keep luck on my side I’ll simply say keep watching the website and facebook site, and keep supporting what may easily be the best independent music in the free world!
I mean… I’m just sayin’…
