It’s kinda easy to overlook the monolith that is U2.
But in fact you had forgotten what is truly great about this band.
But only bono. Would have the nuts do the ‘Pavarotti’ bit. In front of an Italian stadium !!

You are SO right, Mark. And only Bono would have the presence to be received by the audience the way he was AFTER doing the Pavarotti bit! Excellent choice – I got goosebumps all throughout the song and I was near tears by the end. Such a powerful song still after all this time!
