Hi all,

Sorry for the wait on this one. I was respectfully awaiting approval from the Bellies. I just got word from their US management, and so here it is!

Paul Noonan and David Geraghty of Bell X1 were very kind in stopping by the campus of Guilford College in Greensboro North Carolina on their way from Raleigh NC to Atlanta GA (I think) to chat with Paddy-Whacked Radio™ on WQFS in Greensboro.

I hope you enjoy this!

Please know that the fidelity of the recording is limited to studio equipment (it’s college radio, eh?). Also, please forgive the squeaky door during the final live song. Someone decided it was a good idea to walk in and out of the studio at that particular time. (grumble grumble).

Thanks,

Shawn

Hi all,

Paddy-Whacked Radio has been granted an official WQFS “specialty show”! This means that I can now do a full 2 hours of PWRadio!! yay.

Also, I am officially on FM every Sunday night through the summer from 8 to 10pm! So… it’s all good.

I thought I was going to have a trainee this week, so I didn’t plan anything special, but next Sunday night I’ll be featuring brand new, never heard in the United States, music from Mike Bartlett upcoming release, Hurricane! Tune in, or download.

And remember, WQFS needs your support!

Where’s PWRadio?

May 30th, 2008

Hi all,

Apologies that there have been no FM show downloads lately. WQFS has been on the training schedule over the past two weeks, and though I’ve done 2 shows per week, I have been giving the music selection mostly to the trainee. The part that has been PWRadio has been pretty much nothing new, and not worth the download.

Also, those of you waiting for the interview with Bell X1, I am awaiting approval from the Bellies to make it available. It was an awesome hour with the lads, but with respect to them, I will wait.

Thanks, and keep your eyes and ears here for  more PWRadio news and music!
